They developed a huge fan base in Maryland for several years before breaking up. His next big opportunity was to play bass for The Blue Flames, a Jimi Hendrix tribute band in Tennessee. Playing Jimi covers, we would introduce our slew of originals during shows in the local circuit. John had to relocate to Texas and was soon hired on as the lead guitarist for White Harvest, Christian Arts Studio contemporary rock band out of Corpus. This resulted in playing live at Bayfest, and touring in Texas. A major highlight for John was also playing lead guitar on their CD “Enter”, which included the Grammy winning song “He Is Worthy.” Since moving to Virginia, John has played in other projects, of which he is most proud to reconnect with his brother, a drummer, to do extensive recording in John’s home studio. He has taught guitar to many young people on his journey, but mostly free-lancing. He envisioned that he’d focus on teaching music in his retirement days. John takes pride in offering free lessons, and free guitars, to those less fortunate, to Wounded Warriors, and the disabled in
general.
